Valentine’s Day Card

My hubby and I don’t make a big deal out of Valentine’s Day. We’ve just never really bought into overspending on this one day of the year and instead really focusing on appreciating each other every single day. (I know…sappy. I’m allowed to be a little sappy today. :-)) We’ll have a nice low-key evening like we do most nights…which we really LOVE.

But this year, I was inspired to whip up a little card for him. I’m putting it in his lunch box this morning when I pack his lunch – one of the few “wifey” kinds of things I do.

I used this cool heart pattern and a quick single crochet for the ‘I’ and ‘U’. And then hot-glued it to some card stock I have. Think he’ll like it? :-)

Cute! My husband says I always make things for everyone else but never for him. Hard to crochet for a guy. Have a great day. Tammy

Thanks, Tammy! The best thing? My husband sent me an email telling me how much he loved it, and said “Wow! Great work! I actually thought this might have been something you bought. Looks very commercial like you could get in the store. Love it.”

      Awww…sweet, sweet hubby!
