Two New CALs

I’m having so much fun with the idea of the granny square crochet along and the slug-a-long that I’m committing to two more CALs (crochet-a-longs). There are so many great CAL projects out there, but these two caught my eye and I’m really excited.

The first is another amigurumi – this time a Spring Bunny.

Cute, right? I’m going to see if I can get two of these made in the next few weeks as Easter gifts for my niece and nephew; although at the moment that feels a little aggressive. I’ll be happy if I get one made that actually looks like a bunny. :-)

And the second is for an Overlay Mandala.

Gorgeous, isn’t it? I have to admit I’m a little intimidated by this one, but with the help of weekly CAL goals, I’m confident I can do it!

I really love the idea that a group of people are working on the same project and able to help each other out! Anyone participating in any other crochet-a-longs?

I love the mandala but I think it would be way beyond my crochet skills :)

Linda – it’s gorgeous, right? I bought the pattern last night and took a look at. REALLY great pictures and step by step instructions, so I’m actually a little less intimidated now. I’ll be sure to keep you all posted on how it goes once I actually get started though. :-)

I think, the mandala is crazy (in a good way). I love it too, but it seems to be very hard to crochet. I will look at you ๐Ÿ˜‰ Have a good week and feel free to visit my blog!

Yeah it’s going to be a challenge – but in a good way! I’ll definitely keep you all updated on my progress as we get going. The pattern is really well done – lots of pictures to break it down into easy-to-follow steps.
