30 Days of Thankfulness Day 25

I am so thankful for wonderful neighbors. And in particular our next door neighbor, Sue. Not only did she welcome us on our first day in the neighborhood with homemade chocolate chip cookies (seriously the BEST we’ve ever had), but she checks in on our cats for us when we travel. She is a pet lover and knowing that our girls are in her protective hands is so reassuring. It’s the hardest part about traveling for us.

Today, I am thankful for the kindness of strangers. There are many instances where people will hold doors open for me in public, especially if I’m pushing a stoller around, but also sometimes people let me go in front of them in the checkout line if they have less to buy than me, and like on Black Friday, we were in line at a department store, and the lady in front of me decided she dint want to use her coupon and she gave it to me. It was a “scratch off” coupon where you didn’t know how much the value was until the cashier scratched it off, but it would up being a $100 coupon! Thanks to the kindness of a steanger, I was able to get an entire order of stuff from a department store for free!
