Today I am thankful for my curiosity and life long pursuit of learning. It is a trait that was fostered and encouraged by my parents, who didn’t always give me the answers I was looking for but instead showed me how to find the answers. (Totally frustrating as a kid – so thankful for it now.) I love that I question, and that I am always open to learning new things. I want to know why and how and what if. It prevents boredom and it opens up whole new worlds that I would otherwise not have been exposed to.
My husband and I use a phrase regularly – “Once you know, you can’t un-know.” And I love that my curiosity has helped me “know” quite a variety of things. Life is so much more exciting for it!
