I am thankful for YouTube. I have to admit, I’ve never really thought much of YouTube until recently, when I wanted to learn to crochet. I tried picking up a couple books…but have you tried reading a crochet pattern when you don’t have a clue as to what you’re doing? Or learned to make a stitch based on static drawings? You really need to see it in action, and once you do, it all makes sense!
It is through all the generous people who take the time to post how-to videos on YouTube that really make it such a valuable resource. My very favorite “channel” is Crochet Geek. Seriously, check her out!
I’m so thankful that people have used this outlet for helpful tips like crochet stitches, and not just for showing their friend doing crazy stunts.
