30 Days of Thankfulness Day 10

Today I am thankful for my Keurig. I’m sitting here enjoying a nice warm cup of Caramel Vanilla Cream coffee because of my wonderful Keurig.

Until about 1.5 years ago, I never drank coffee. I have always loved the smell of coffee, but never really the taste. Then, as you get older, your tastes change I guess. LOL I started my current job in the spring of 2011, and first got hooked on Keurig coffee while onsite at our home office. Yummy flavors of coffee to choose from!

Then, when I would go to visit my client’s site, THEY had Keurig coffee makers in their office with yummy flavors of coffee to choose from.

I started heading to my local Starbucks for mochas and caramel flavored coffees, which turned into a nearly daily habit. It was my sweet hubby who encouraged me just to get a Keurig so I could make coffees at home.

And I have loved it! Easy, yummy coffee … very little clean up! And it’s a fun, gadget-y thing in my kitchen. I love gadget-y things. :-)

Nearly a year and a half later (just this week in fact) my husband finally started to appreciate the Keurig too when he saw that we had apple cider and hot cocoa Kcups. So I think it’s going to be a well used and well loved addition to our kitchen.

I love my Keurig, too! And, now I’ve also gotten hooked on Starbucks VIA packets, the ultimate in lazy coffee drinking! You just tear open the packet, pour in hot water, and whalla! You gotta try those :) I am a personal fan of the mocha flavor!

Day10. I am thankful for all the military men and women in our country. They know the risks involved in their chosen profession and they do it regardless, with pride, because of our country. The unimaginable sacrifices those men and women make, as well as their families, leaves me in awe. My Dad was a Navy man who served in between the Korean and Vietnam wars, and my husband’s Dad served in Army in Vietnam, and we have countless other friends/family in the military. God Bless Them!

Oh I’ve heard about the VIA’s and that the Mocha ones are good. I’m going to have to pick some up and give it a try! Would be great for traveling and things like that too.

  2. I’m jealous of your keurig!! It’s on my Christmas list :)
