2015 Audiobook Challenge: Year End Wrap Up

There are still a couple days left in the year, but I’m not going to finish my current audiobook before then; so it’s time to report on my audiobook challenge.

This year, I set a goal to read 52 books, and as part of that I’ve separately signed up for an Audiobook Challenge, which is being hosted by The Book Nympho and Hot Listens. I set a goal for 15-20 of my books this year to be audiobooks, which they call the “Socially Awkward (Don’t Talk to Me)” Level.

Well…I ended up listening to 22 audioboks!! You can see everything I listened to this year on my Goodreads shelf. You’ll see that a majority of those was the Sookie Stackhouse series, narrated by Johanna Parker. Boy, did I love listening to her bring sassy Sookie to life!

I love that I’ve finally found a way to love audiobooks. Doing this challenge really helped me to seek out narrators I would like and actually listen to. I look forward to continuing my audiobook challenge in 2016 (see my reading challenge post here)!

Great job on the audiobooks! I haven’t listened to any of the Sookies yes but I should try this narrator out since you enjoyed her so much :)

    • Thanks, Julie! Yes, I really loved her sassy, southern accent. I’m going to have to see if there are other books with the same narrator, although she’s pretty well ingrained in my head as Sookie now. ๐Ÿ˜‰
