2013 Crochet Along Week 4

*Catch up on prior week’s crochet along results here.

Week 4‘s pattern should be called “A round peg CAN fit in a square hole”. (Ok cheesy, I know!) But what a fun combination of round and square!

I picked up two balls of yarn I had on my desk that were SUPER soft. I just love working with super soft yarn. And I think it’s a nice neutral combination.

UPDATE: End the end of this week, I looked back at my squares and decided I wanted to use only five colors for the whole challenge (so that the resulting blanket would be more coordinated). While I liked the idea of it being a mish-mash of whatever I felt like that week, I changed my mind. :-) So I re-did this square and wanted to share an updated version.

Looking good. Can’t wait to see your finished product! Have you had a chance to work on your slug? I look forward to seeing it.

Thanks, Robyn! Yep, I have slug “parts” done – now need to go get the stuffing so I can start assembling him. Hope to have something to show by early next week!
